| A recent eBay(tm) auction for the X-O Manowar #1/2 Gold variant ended at $152.51 ($149.51 bid plus $3 shipping). The actual print run for the gold variant is unknown. Most Valiant gold variants were produced in print runs of 5,000 copies. Because this comic is rarely seen in ebay auctions, it is more likely that much less than 5,000 copies were made. Original distribution of these variants is also unknown. The regular version was distributed by Wizard Magazine as a mail-order book, but the gold variant was never offered for sale to the public. |
